Intelbras chooses DSP Group's XciteR platform to power IP phones

USA: DSP Group Inc.announced that Intelbras has selected its innovative VoIP chipset solution to drive the company's IP phone and DECT IP phone product lines.

Based in Brazil, Intelbras is an innovative manufacturer of analog phones, DECT phones and IP voice/video telephony products, catering primarily the growing LATAM market.

A state-of-the-art, highly integrated system-on-a-chip solution (SoC), XciteR is ideal for the development of low to mid-range IP phones with or without DECT. Leveraging a productive and pre-existing relationship with DSP Group, Intelbras uses the VoIP chipset solution to lower design and bill of material costs and speed up time to market.

Targeting small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) and consumers, Intelbras IP phones enable seamless replacement of legacy analog telephones with fully-featured devices that provide access to more advanced IP services with the addition of High Definition Voice and DECT/CAT-iq extensions.
