Ethertronics EtherModule 1.0 finalist in 2013 CTIA awards

USA: Ethertronics EtherModule 1.0 was named a finalist in the “Enterprise Solution – M2M, Sensors, RFID & NFC” category of CTIA’s annual Emerging Technology (E-Tech) Awards competition.

The CTIA E-Tech Awards  honor the industry’s most innovative new wireless products and services in mobile apps, consumer electronics, enterprise and vertical markets, and networks. Winners will be announced at CTIA 2013™, taking place May 21-23, 2013 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Ethertronics’ EtherModule 1.0 offers a highly modular and optimized wideband self-tunable antenna solution for wireless vendors designing M2M products. As a turnkey, plug-and-play, active antenna system module, EtherModule 1.0 combines Ethertronics’ advanced antenna architecture with its EtherChip 1.0 tunable capacitor for easy integration by wireless product designers –  minimizing the need for additional engineering design and getting products to market faster.

Its compact size and ability to cover a wide range of frequency needs – from 100 MHz up to several GHz covering 2G, 3G, 4G cellular as well as Bluetooth, ISM, WiFi and ZigBee bands – make it ideal for M2M devices.
