GigOptix to showcase 40G and 100G TFPS modulators and drivers

OFC/NFOEC 2012, SAN JOSE, USA: GigOptix Inc., a leading fabless supplier of semiconductor and optical components that enable high speed information streaming, will showcase its full portfolio of Telcordia qualified, production Thin Film Silicon on Polymer (TFPS™) Mach-Zehnder Modulators (MZMs) in addition to its 40G and 100G drivers at the OFC/NFOEC in Los Angeles, California beginning on March 6, 2012.

At booth 1233, GigOptix will provide demonstrations and showcase the following Bundled Solutions and products:

LX8220: 40G DQPSK TFPS optical modulator with low drive voltage and small form factor designed for long-haul and ultra-long-haul optical transponders.
LX8240: 100G DP-QPSK TFPS optical modulator with ultra-small form factor and low drive voltage.
GX62255: low power, integrated dual channel 32Gb/s driver designed for 40G DQPSK and 100G DP-QPSK long-haul optical transmitters.
HXT/R4101A: chipset that enables industry leading sub-250mW 10Gb/s short reach SFP+ transceivers.
HXT/R5104: high performance chipset that is used in both 40GBASE-SR4 QSFP transceivers and 40GBASE-LR4 ROSAs.
