FeatureTel targets resellers in new VoIP business development program

APEX, USA: FeatureTel, North Carolina’s premier hosted VoIP telephone services solutions company, has launched a new Preferred Channel Partner Program to work with third parties to increase the availability of its telecommunications services.

The new program is the latest in a series of developments from the fast-growing business that recently installed VoIP services for the entire City of Durham, N.C. operations.

“With the success of the City of Durham installation for all stakeholders, we have seen a tremendous interest from the industry, business community and municipalities in our services,” said Paul Levering, FeatureTel CEO. “Our new program targets value added resellers, so we can provide VoIP services to a larger market while maintaining the same high level of quality connection and customer service.”

FeatureTel has brought on industry veteran Shawn Jones to launch its business development outreach to channel partners. Jones, a 25-year telecommunications entrepreneur, recently joined FeatureTel from Vodaplex in Atlanta, where he was director of sales. His broad industry experience building distribution channels also includes tenures with PanTerra Networks, Fonality, PresiNET Systems, Integrated Communications and Williams Communications Solutions.

FeatureTel already has begun negotiations with a number of Preferred Channel Partners that will serve as referral resources, agents or preferred partners in its new program, the latter of which will sell, implement and provide tier one support for their telecommunications clients.
