PlasmaTech to acquire over 80 copyrights to multi-generational software and hardware wireless devices

LAS VEGAS, USA: PlasmaTech Inc., a wireless technology innovator providing solutions to the $120 billion global security market, has executed an agreement to acquire more than 80 copyrights from RF Wireless, a leader of wireless card access and security products.

This intellectual portfolio includes 46 copyrights to various software and hardware related to the Company's Diamond Sentry product line, 26 copyrights to software and hardware related to long-range Bluetooth products, and nine copyrights related to TCP/IP products. PlasmaTech expects to complete the transaction and assume ownership of these industry-leading technologies on or about December 15, 2009.

PlasmaTech provides end-to-end hardware and software solutions capable of supporting multiple generations of existing wireless and hard-wired networks, from legacy cable systems to unprecedented extreme-range WiFi access. Modular design, remote monitoring and power control, and customized management features are adaptable to a wide range of applications in the industrial, commercial and government sectors.

“Our intellectual property portfolio creates a significant and competitive advantage in the global security products industry. Beginning in 2010, in addition to direct sales, we have ample opportunity to secure private labeling, direct product sales, licensing and co-development activities to create multiple revenue streams aimed at creating a large-scale client base that will result in recurring revenue,” said PlasmaTech president Marvin Williams.

Current product lines meet or exceed FCC protocols in the United States and similar regulations and various bandwidths worldwide, such as 868 MHz for Europe and Asia; 900 MHz for North and South America and Israel; and a customized version for Australia and 2.4 GHz Bluetooth, ZigBee and 802.15.4 for worldwide acceptance standards.

An open architecture platform easily and seamlessly addresses the various interconnectivity and implementation issues attributable to emerging, high-speed protocols, including IEEE WirelessMan (North America) and emerging ETSI BRAN HyperMAN (European and international) standards.
