ATLANTA, USA: Ascom Wireless Solutions, a leading supplier of on-site wireless communications, has introduced a new generation of VoWiFi handsets at the annual HIMSS (The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) conference at the Georgia World Congress Center. The new generation of VoWiFi handsets will be the first to feature the latest 802.11n networking standard.
The new VoWiFi phone design is built upon Ascom’s long experience in offering state of the art ruggedized, purpose-built handsets for demanding environments along with wireless voice and message transmission systems and customized alarm and positioning applications.
The new handsets will provide customers with an improved easy-to-use user interface, maximized operating time, thanks to smart energy management and access to valuable services, including Ascom Centralized Management platform for easier device management.
