BELLEVUE, USA: LiquidPlanner, the industry’s only priority-based, predictive project management solution for managing the real complexities of the workplace — announced the availability of a new native Android application. The new app joins LiquidPlanner’s family of smartphone and tablet applications for the iPhone and iPad, allowing customers to choose their preferred mobile device to access LiquidPlanner 3.0. Now, project managers and team members alike can access LiquidPlanner’s rich predictive project management features at any time and from any location. The new app can be downloaded free from Google Play.
“In today’s fast-paced business environment, it’s increasingly difficult to stay on top of the ever changing demands of multiple projects,” says Charles Seybold, CEO of LiquidPlanner. “The LiquidPlanner 3.0 Android app makes mobile accessibility easy. It’s designed to help a new generation of project managers and team members stay connected when they are on the road, in meetings, or when they are working after hours.”
According to Gartner, the Android platform represents approximately one-half of the overall smartphone market worldwide. LiquidPlanner has created a solution for its many customers using versions 2.1 and above of the Android phone platform to easily access advanced project management features outside the office, such as a personalized prioritized to-do list, comments, attached documents, time tracking and schedule information. The app allows project managers to oversee projects more easily and access the information they need to make business decisions faster, ensuring their projects are completed on time and within budget.
“Mobile connectivity is becoming increasingly important at our company. Today, many of our managers and team members rely on mobile devices to stay involved with their projects and quickly address any issues that arise,” said Mike Mickelsen, Operations director at Electronic Systems Services Inc. “LiquidPlanner’s new Android app will ensure that more of our employees have access to the critical information they need, even when they are out in the field.”
The release of LiquidPlanner 3.0 for Android is further evidence of the company’s commitment to providing broad support for its mobile customers. LiquidPlanner’s iOS application has been downloaded more than 13,000 times since its release in September 2011.
