BANGALORE, INDIA: Nokia once again redefined the smartphone segment by launching the all-in-one business smartphone – Nokia E7, the new age Communicator.
Nokia Communicator, with its launch, set a benchmark in business mobility way back in 1996 and continued to woo consumers with multiple launches over the last 15 years. Today, the Communicator returns in its new avatar with E7!
The launch saw T.S. Sridhar, regional GM - South, Nokia India showcase the Nokia E7 - a must have device for those seeking the convenience of using either touch or type while staying connected on the go.
The Nokia E7 boasts of Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support alongside a 4-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, which uses Nokia’s ClearBlack technology for improved outdoor visibility, delivering the best possible user experience amongst smartphones. To compliment the four-inch touch screen, Nokia E7 has a slide out four-row QWERTY keyboard making it the ideal mobile business device.

The Nokia E7 comes pre-loaded with applications like Mail for Exchange, IBM Lotus Notes Traveler, Quick office Dynamic Premium, Vlingo, Adobe PDF reader, World traveler App, F-Secure anti-theft software for mobile and Nokia Ovi Maps with free GPS navigation, Nokia E7 not only allows opening and reading office documents, but also creating and editing new documents & presentations and viewing or mailing them on the go. The Nokia E7 will be available across the country from today starting with Nokia Priority Stores, at an Best Buy price Rs. 29,999/-. Consumers can also purchase the Nokia E7 under an easy payment scheme and pay for it in three equal monthly installments (EMI) at zero percent interest.
The scheme is available through over 176 Nokia Priority outlets across eight cities Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmadabad and Chandigarh. Nokia has tied up with Citibank, HDFC Bank, Standard Chartered and ICICI Bank for the Easy EMI scheme and the offer will be available to consumers with credit cards only from any of these four banks. Nokia has already been offering consumers the opportunity to experience the Nokia E7 live at Nokia Priority outlets in key cities and towns across the country.
