ManageEngine to launch MDM services

PLEASANTON, USA: ManageEngine, the real-time IT management company, will launch mobile device management (MDM) services for Mobile World Congress. The move empowers both established and emerging enterprises to take control of their exploding mobile device ecosystems and manage them from the same pane of glass they use to manage traditional infrastructure and applications.

Desktop Central expands device management support beyond the traditional desktop to include Apple iOS-based devices. Moreover, IT professionals can now monitor and manage the entire enterprise IT infrastructures using IT360 from an iPad. ManageEngine will demonstrate Desktop Central and IT360 in booths 2.1A77 and 2.1A79 at Mobile World Congress, running February 27–March 1, at Fira Montjuïc, in Barcelona.

“Smartphones and tablets are here to stay on company networks,” said Raj Sabhlok, president of ManageEngine, a division of Zoho Corp. “Tablet sales alone are projected to be in the hundreds of millions each year for the next several years, and budding movements such as Bring Your Own Device just further entrench and complicate security, bandwidth use, and asset management in the enterprise. By extending our proven IT management products with the kinds of MDM services that organizations need, ManageEngine enables IT organizations to meet the challenges presented by mobile with the same tools they use to manage their traditional enterprise infrastructure.”
