ASUS intros serverboard with onboard Mellanox FDR 56Gb/s InfiniBand adapters

SC11, SEATTLE, USA: Mellanox Technologies Ltd, a leading supplier of end-to-end connectivity solutions for data center servers and storage systems, and ASUS, announced the new ASUS Z9PH-D16/FDR serverboard with integrated onboard Mellanox ConnectX-3 FDR 56Gb/s InfiniBand adapters. The half-sized SSI serverboard provides ultra-high density and increases I/O bandwidth, lowers application data latency, and improves green data center efficiency.

Mellanox’s FDR 56Gb/s InfiniBand I/O solution leads the industry with unprecedented bandwidth (>12GB/s) and latency (<0.7us) performance with PCI Express 3.0 support.
