MOUNTAIN VIEW, USA & BERLIN, GERMANY: Jibe Mobile announced that it will showcase Jibe’s cloud-based IP communications services, enabling carriers to provide next generation messaging for their subscribers and friends throughout the world, at Rich Communication 2014.
This year’s event will be held at the Maritim proArte Hotel in Berlin, Tuesday, October 28 and Wednesday, October 29.
In addition to a demonstration of Jibe’s end-to-end cloud based services, senior director of product marketing Craig Marshall-Nicholls will share with telecom decision makers from around the world why and how Jibe’s RCS/joyn cloud is replacing traditional infrastructure in order for its mobile operator customers to compete with OTTs.
“Jibe’s IP Communications Cloud is enabling Mobile Operators such as Deutsche Telekom in Europe and Sprint in North America to rapidly transition to IP networks with innovative, integrated SMS/MMS-next generation messaging to compete head-on with OTT,” said Amir Sarhangi, CEO Jibe Mobile. “As carriers deploy their IP infrastructure they are now moving to interconnect with each other through Jibe’s RCS Hub.”
Jibe will showcase its end-to-end IP messaging cloud-based services and interconnectivity provided by Jibe’s RCS Hub. Jibe’s platform and messaging client are based on GSMA’s RCS specification, enabling carriers to rapidly launch and interconnect IP services integrated with SMS throughout the world.
Attendees with see how customers use a single service to connect via integrated SMS/MMS-next generation messaging, including video call, text, instant messaging, group messaging, as well as share their favorite photos and videos — on iPhone and Android™- powered smartphones.
