Comtech announces $3.3 million of orders for high-power amplifiers and switches

MELVILLE, USA: Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced that its Melville, New York-based subsidiary, Comtech PST Corp., received orders aggregating $3.3 million addressing the needs of multiple customers for different applications.

The first order is for $1.9 million and the customer will use Comtech's amplifiers in a complex Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) system used to interrogate aircraft to determine their friend or foe status. The second order is for $1.4 million of high-power amplifiers and switches and the customer will use Comtech's amplifiers and switches in their radio signal jamming systems.

Fred Kornberg, president and CEO of Comtech Telecommunications, said, "These orders reaffirm Comtech's product performance, quality and reliability, as well as the continuation of our relationship with these premier suppliers of systems to both US and international customers."
