NEW DELHI, INDIA: Telesoft Technologies announced the launch of its ARNE IVR platform today. Aimed at VAS and enterprise players in India and Asia, the ARNE IVR provides the perfect voice and video platform on which VAS developers can build innovative new revenue streams.
The ARNE IVR easily connects to mobile and fixed networks and provides services such as colour ring-back tones (CRBT), customer self-care such as bill payment systems as well as information and entertainment applications such as news, timetables, horoscopes and cricket scores.
"Feedback from our customers led us to 'Indovate' Telesoft Technologies' products to meet the technology related price-performance challenges of the India market. The ARNE IVR has the perfect performance-price ratio for Indian and Asian VAS needs", said Rajiv Nayyar, VP sales and operations, Asia-Pacific, Telesoft Technologies. "Using the ARNE IVR developers can quickly build and deploy voice and video applications and adapt them as needed in real-time."
Applications use VoiceXML (Voice eXtensible Markup Language similar to html code) to control the ARNE IVR, listen to user inputs via voice or keypad and play pre-recorded announcements and video clips as needed. The open standard VoiceXML language allows fast development and deployment of new value added services by application developers.
"The ARNE IVR is perfect for our voice based entertainment & utility based applications as well as our color ring-back tone application," said T.K. Vardarajan, co-founder, Ascenso Telecom Solutions. "It combines the media features we required, with a robust interface to telecoms networks and built-in VoiceXML support which allowed us to quickly deploy and modify our applications to maximize revenue opportunities."
"Operators are looking to MVAS services to replace reducing ARPUs. Optimized for this vibrant mVAS market the ARNE IVR is an ideal fit," said Tim Daniels, global product marketing manager, Telesoft.
A powerful, yet competitively priced VAS platform, the ARNE IVR features up to 240 simultaneous media channels in a compact 1U 19" rack mounted chassis. It has built-in SS7/ISUP signaling protocol software for call control, an MRCP interface for text-to-speech (TTS) and automatic speech recognition (ASR) and built-in in video streaming capability. Simple text file configuration ensures simple 'plug and play' setup in the field.
