Indo-Korean Business and Policy Forum ICT conference

SEOUL, KOREA: The Indo-Korean Business and Policy Forum is organizing an India-South Korea ICT Conference and Business Development Meeting on June 6-7, 2009 (Saturday and Sunday).

Time: 09:00 to 18:00
Venue: Shulbert Hall, President Hotel, 188-3 I-ka Ulchi-ro Chung-ku, Seoul


As many as 100 top South Korean and Indian firms are expected to participate. A buyer-seller meeting will be held in association with Anhse law offices, with a view to develop partnerships, joint ventures and businesses between Indian and Korean companies. This will be a perfect opportunity to explore third country markets for Indo-Korean joint ventures.

The Indian IT sector reached more than $52 billion last year. Korea’s business relations with India have surpassed 30% growth per year. The two countries complement each other. While India has one of the largest skill bases in software technologies, South Korea has some of the most competitive electronics, hardware and telecom industries. With the signing of CEPA, business relations are expected to grow quickly, especially in the IT sector.

This meeting will cover all major areas of ICT products and services such as wireless communication equipment and handsets, desktop management, optical cable, security systems, broadband internet, BPO, IT Financial services, IT Health services, webcasting and telecommunications technology.
